Hey there, readers! Long time, no blog post! To show appreciation for you, my dear readers, my books are discounted now through Monday, December 1. Happy reading 🙂
If you love finding book deals, I have more good news. A bunch of authors have book discounts this Friday through Monday at Perry Kirkpatrick’s Black Friday Book Sale. I hope you find some new favorite books!
Since this is my first post since The Search and Rescue Files released, I’ll give a quick rundown of the exciting adventures that have kept my family busy lately, in case you aren’t subscribed to my newsletter. I’m super thankful to God for all these opportunities!

From rock climbing in Kentucky’s Red River Gorge, to exploring Kenya, and most recently Ireland, this has been a big year for our family. Everybody experiences different seasons of life that bring different blessings and challenges. I know all my future years probably won’t be as exciting as this one, but I’m glad that God gave us these memorable trips…and I hope that whichever type of season you’re in, you’re able to see God’s hand in your life, whether He’s pouring out rest and enjoyment or allowing a refiner’s fire to strengthen you.
Lastly, if you haven’t read my free short story, it’s a fun and feel-good story, and I hope you enjoy the bit of wholesome entertainment. Did you know that reading even just 20 minutes a day improves a person’s brain function, sleep, memory, stress level, and conversation skills (to name a few benefits)? Schedule reading time and enjoy it!

The adventure Kinsley dreams of does not involve hours of community service, thanks to her irreverent friend Griffin. While working extra hard to reclaim the promise of a scholarship, Kinsley finds an adventure in an unexpected place.
Wow, what a year!
