Defining Failure and Finding Story Inspiration – My First Video Interview with Author Kathy J. Perry

Kathy J. Perry writes stories for youth because she believes that character education happens when we read lovable, admirable characters. She invited me to a video interview with her, where we talked about story inspiration and how to view failures (after finding out the potent way that a garlic bulb is made of many cloves).

You can also catch a glimpse of some real life flash flood exhilaration, and check out the books she’s authored. Currently my kids are loving her story Emeline: A Journey, which has a fantastic, theatrical narrator for the audiobook.

Watch the interview here.

I saw this when you first posted about it, but didn’t get around to watching the interview until now. 🤦🏼‍♀️ But you did an amazing job in the interview!!! I’m so happy for you, and thank you so much for recommending Writing by Faith! 😊
