Kathy J. Perry writes stories for youth because she believes that character education happens when we read lovable, admirable characters. She invited me to a video interview with her, where we talked about story inspiration and how to view failures (after finding out the potent way that a garlic bulb is made of many cloves).
You can also catch a glimpse of some real life flash flood exhilaration, and check out the books she’s authored. Currently my kids are loving her story Emeline: A Journey, which has a fantastic, theatrical narrator for the audiobook.

I saw this when you first posted about it, but didn’t get around to watching the interview until now. 🤦🏼♀️ But you did an amazing job in the interview!!! I’m so happy for you, and thank you so much for recommending Writing by Faith! 😊
